About alts| Alteration Specialists + LABEL We make clothes fit. You own the moment. Alts is a multi-studio, high-touch tailoring brand built on expert craftsmanship, thoughtful service, and modern convenience. Our mission is to reimagine everything about tailoring, except the craft itself. Since 2014, Alts (formerly Alteration Specialists) has been New York's highest-rated full-service tailor trusted by individuals, stylists, boutiques, and leading fashion houses. Named "Most Genius Tailor" by Vogue and featured in Forbes, WSJ, Harper's Bazaar, and Brides, Alts has redefined the tailoring experience. Our dedicated bridal specialists, master suit tailors, and seamstresses handle everything from everyday alterations and bridal fittings to specialty work in silk, leather, lace, and vintage garments. With studios across NYC, Long Island, NJ, and CT and at-home appointments available, we serve retail customers, corporate clients, and fashion houses. Every alteration comes with our 30-day fit guarantee, because we're not satisfied until you are. At Alts, sustainability is built into the work itself: repairing and repurposing garments to keep them in closets and out of landfills, while keeping a traditional craft alive.
