Information we collect

We collect the information you provide and the data needed to run the Service:

• Account data: your name, email address, and authentication details.
• Resume and profile data: the resume you upload and any details you add about your job search.
• Job and outreach data: jobs you save, fit scores, contacts you find, and the messages you draft.
• Sign-in with Google: if you sign up using Google, we receive your basic profile information (name, email address, and profile picture) to create and secure your account. We do not access your Gmail, contacts, calendar, or any other Google data. Jobreach's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
• Usage data: basic analytics and device information that help us improve the Service.

Contacts we surface

Jobreach helps you find publicly available professional contact information (such as name, role, and work email) for hiring-related outreach. This information comes from reputable third-party business data providers and publicly available professional sources. We do not bypass technical access controls to obtain it.

We process this information on the basis of our legitimate interest in facilitating professional, hiring-related communication between job seekers and the people hiring for the roles they apply to.

If you are a contact surfaced by Jobreach and would like your details removed, email us at hello@jobreach.co and we will suppress your information from the Service.

Sending emails

Jobreach does not send emails for you and cannot access your inbox. When you choose "Send via Gmail" (or a similar option), Jobreach opens a draft in your own email client, and you review and send the message yourself, from your own account. We never read, store, or transmit the contents of your mailbox.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Provide core features such as fit scoring, contact discovery, and message drafting.
• Maintain your account, process billing, and provide support.
• Improve the Service and keep it secure.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.

Our legal bases under UK GDPR are: performance of a contract (providing the Service you signed up for), legitimate interests (improving and securing the Service, and facilitating hiring-related outreach as described above), consent (where we ask for it, such as optional communications), and legal obligation (where the law requires us to process or retain data).

AI processing

Jobreach uses third-party AI providers to score your fit and generate draft messages. Relevant content, such as your resume and the job description, is sent to these providers solely to produce those results, under contracts that restrict their use of the data. We do not use your data to train third-party models, and our providers are not permitted to do so either.

Sharing and disclosure

We share data only with service providers who help us operate the Service (for example, hosting, analytics, payment processing, business contact data providers, and AI providers), and only as needed to deliver it. Our providers process data under our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We may also disclose information where required by law.

International transfers

Flywheel Media Ltd is based in the United Kingdom, and some of our service providers (including hosting and AI providers) are located in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK Addendum, or transfers to countries covered by UK adequacy regulations.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for essential functions (such as keeping you signed in) and basic analytics that help us understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may affect how the Service works.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your data or close your account at any time. When your account is closed, we delete your personal data within 6 months, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting reasons.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@jobreach.co.

If you are in the UK, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. If you are in the EEA, you may complain to your local data protection authority.

If you are a resident of a US state with a comprehensive privacy law (such as California), you may have similar rights, including the right to know, access, correct, and delete your personal data, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal data as those terms are defined under those laws.

Children

The Service is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information and to notify you and the relevant authorities of any incident that affects it, as required by law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest revision, and we will notify you of material changes through the Service or by email.
