Brigit
We're hiring! We help everyday Americans build a brighter financial future.

Responsibilities
- Build the growth engine. Define the B2B partnership strategy, target segments, partner value proposition, commercial goals, and quarterly priorities. Maintain a qualified pipeline and make clear investment and go/no-go recommendations.
- Win and grow strategic partnerships. Lead executive relationships, negotiations, renewals, and expansion plans for key partners. Own partner business reviews and turn performance insights into actions that improve results for Brigit and its partners.
- Launch embedded offerings. Lead opportunities from discovery and deal structure through contracting, integration, launch, and optimization. Establish repeatable commercial terms, launch criteria, and partner-management practices that reduce friction as the business grows.
- Test new partnership models. Work with Risk, Data, Product, and potential lender partners to assess the commercial and technical case for cash-flow-based underwriting data. Coordinate studies, evaluate partner demand and economics, and recommend whether to proceed.
- Shape the partner experience. Translate partner needs into clear commercial requirements and priorities for reusable integrations, working with the B2B engineering team and Product on delivery.
- Build and lead the team. Manage affiliate partnerships in coordination with Growth, hire for emerging embedded and data-partnership opportunities as approved, and establish clear ownership, goals, coaching, and accountability.
- Operate responsibly. Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Risk on diligence, contracting, data use, and launch readiness. Surface regulatory questions early rather than treating approval as a final-stage check.
- In the first year, you will establish an approved partnership strategy and operating cadence; strengthen performance and expansion plans for major accounts; move priority embedded opportunities through clear launch or go/no-go decisions; and build an evidence-based recommendation on underwriting-data partnerships. Success will be measured through agreed commercial targets, partner launches and performance, renewal and expansion outcomes, and the team’s ability to execute a repeatable playbook.
Qualification
- 15+ years in partnerships, business development, or general management in consumer fintech, embedded finance, financial-data products, lending, or a closely related field.
- A record of negotiating and launching complex API, embedded, or white-label partnerships—not just signing agreements.
- Experience setting commercial strategy and targets, managing a pipeline, and developing people.
- The ability to work credibly with product and engineering leaders on integrations and with risk teams on how a potential data source is evaluated.
- Proven track record of both managing and growing existing partnerships as well as assessing and adding new ones
- Sound judgment in regulated environments and experience working with Legal and Compliance on partner diligence, contracting, and data-use questions.
- Strong executive communication, commercial negotiation, and analytical skills; comfort moving between a strategic plan and hands-on execution.
- Existing relationships with consumer-finance apps or lenders; experience with earned wage access, cash advances, or small-dollar credit; or direct experience commercializing underwriting or financial-data products.
- The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $225,000 - $275,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits for which an individual may be eligible (other benefits listed below). The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
- We are open to remote candidates, but candidates located in the New York City or San Francisco Bay Area are preferred to support hybrid in-person collaboration with team members.
Benefits
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- 401k plan
- Physical and mental wellbeing benefits including Wellhub for access to virtual workouts and discounted gym memberships, and Headspace for covered virtual therapy sessions and unlimited on demand health support
- Monthly reimbursements to use against wifi and cell phone bills
- Annual reimbursement for Learning & Development
- Help hard working Americans build a brighter financial future
- High-growth company
- A dynamic, flexible and collaborative start-up work environment with a highly talented team
