About Starburst Starburst delivers enterprise intelligence at scale by giving organizations secure, governed access to all their data, wherever it lives. As enterprises accelerate investments in AI, analytics, and data-driven decision-making, many are held back by fragmented data across on-premises systems, multiple clouds, and hybrid environments. Traditional consolidation approaches are costly, slow, and often leave critical business context behind. The Starburst Enterprise Intelligence Platform helps organizations overcome these barriers by enabling federated access to distributed enterprise data without requiring unnecessary data movement or duplication. With Starburst, AI platforms, applications, and teams can access the complete, trustworthy context they need to move from experimentation to production. Business leaders gain faster time to insight, stronger cross-functional collaboration, and greater confidence in decisions based on governed, complete data. Built on open standards with Trino and Apache Iceberg, Starburst integrates with existing data and analytics ecosystems while helping companies avoid vendor lock-in. The platform is trusted by leading enterprises in more than 60 countries, including Comcast, Citigroup, and four of the top five global banks, to power AI, analytics, and enterprise intelligence at scale.
Starburst
Starburst delivers enterprise intelligence at scale, giving AI platforms secure access to distributed data.

Responsibilities
- Develop clear messaging and positioning grounded in the customer problem, the value Starburst provides, and what makes our approach different
- Translate complex data and AI infrastructure into simple, credible stories for technical buyers, business stakeholders, sellers, and partners
- Partner with Product Managers early in the development process to build market and customer understanding into roadmap, launch, and go-to-market decisions
- Own product launches from strategy through execution, including target audience, launch tier, core message, customer-facing assets, internal readiness, distribution, and follow-up
- Build the materials customers need to evaluate Starburst, including architectural narratives, demos, proof points, competitive guidance, trial and POC support, documentation inputs, and analyst materials
- Develop revenue plays that connect customer pain to groups of Starburst capabilities, then equip Marketing and the field to execute them consistently
- Create practical seller enablement for AEs, SDRs, and Solution Architects, including playbooks, pitch materials, competitive guidance, discovery questions, and objection handling
- Gather customer, buyer, competitive, and field intelligence through interviews, win/loss analysis, seller engagement, and direct customer conversations
- Measure impact using product adoption, launch engagement, pipeline, revenue-play performance, and qualitative field and customer evidence
- Help establish the operating system for a growing Product Marketing function, including reusable messaging, launch processes, templates, planning cadences, and feedback loops
- Use AI to accelerate research and execution while maintaining human judgment and accountability for everything that ships
- Approximately 3–5 years of experience in product marketing, product, data or business analysis, solutions consulting, sales enablement, GTM strategy, or another relevant role; prior Product Marketing experience is welcome but not required
- The ability to understand a technical product and explain its value in concise, customer-friendly language
- Strong writing, synthesis, presentation, and storytelling skills
- A bias toward execution: you prioritize useful customer-facing work, move quickly through ambiguity, and improve what you ship using market feedback
- Commercial judgment and an interest in connecting product investments to customer adoption, pipeline, and revenue
- The curiosity and technical aptitude to develop fluency in modern data platforms, analytics, AI infrastructure, and the competitive landscape
- Strong cross-functional relationship skills and the confidence to work directly with Product Managers, engineers, marketers, executives, sellers, and customers
- A willingness to seek out real customer and field evidence rather than relying exclusively on internal assumptions
- Ability to travel: This role will require up to 25% in-person travel for new-hire onboarding, team and company offsites, customer engagements, field events, and other business needs
