• Write and test product or system development code.
• Author designs for software systems.
• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best
• practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability,
• and efficiency).
• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content
• based on product/program updates and user feedback.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the
• sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations
• and quality. Manage production systems, including deployment and monitoring;
• and May organize the work of other engineers.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information
• Systems, or a related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or
• in a Software Engineer-related occupation.
• Position requires the following: 4 years of experience in Software
• development utilizing C++, Python, or Java; 4 years of experience in Testing,
• maintaining or launching software products; 4 years of experience in one of
• the following: Relational databases, Managing data, Validation, API design,
• System design, AI/ML, Android development, iOS development, or Front-end
• development; 2 years of experience with Software design and architecture; and
• Delivering on a company priority in a technical leadership role, either
• directing a small group of engineers, or as an individual contributor.

• Position reports to the Google office & may allow for a hybrid schedule as per
• Google policy.
