• cloud platform consolidation, legacy protocol sunsets), drastically reducing
• operational overhead and infrastructure costs.
• Own the architectural direction and multi-quarter technical roadmap for key
• infrastructure components (e.g., storage platforms, device control planes, or
• authorization backends).
• Lead the execution strategy for large-scale data store consolidations.
• Migrating legacy datastores into unified distributed stores and replacing
• legacy pipelines with modern event-driven architectures.
• Partner with New Product Introduction (NPI) teams, partner platforms, and
• product stakeholders to drive convergence across fragmented device lifecycle
• systems into a single unified protocol.
• Architect scalable, resilient authorization frameworks that uphold strict
• isolation between communal home state and personal user data across high-QPS
• production traffic.

Required

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in C++, Java, or Kotlin
• programming languages.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products,
• and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
• 3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed
• systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or
• hardware architecture.

Preferred

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
• Experience with low-level and high-level networking protocols.
• Experience in the smart home, IoT, or voice assistant domain.
