Company
About Kitt Kitt manages workspaces for companies that want an office worth leaving home for. We handle the full scope – design, operations, and technology – through one dedicated, in-house team. An account manager who understands your business. A team that takes care of your space. An office that's ready every morning and looked after throughout the day. Founded in 2018. Headquartered in Clerkenwell, London. Certified B Corporation.
Responsibilities
- We're looking for an experienced Chartered Surveyor to take ownership of a portfolio of landlord clients and run the property management of their buildings end to end. This is a senior, hands on role: you'll lead the client relationship, do the property management work yourself and help shape how the function scales in 2026 and beyond.
- Reporting into one of our Founders, you'll be the senior point of contact for your clients, accountable for how their buildings perform, how their assets are positioned and how they experience working with Kitt. You'll have full ownership of your portfolio from day one, with a direct hand in growing the business through new instructions and whole building advisory work.
- Owning a portfolio of landlord clients, acting as their trusted adviser across property management and representing Kitt with owners, investors and their senior stakeholders
- Running the property management of your buildings yourself, including service charge budgets and reconciliations, statutory compliance, contractor and supplier management and day to day performance
- Driving value across your assets through lettings, renewals, expansions, regears and capex projects, and advising clients on the strategy for each asset
- Producing and presenting clear, accurate client reporting on building performance and financials, and leading regular performance reviews with your clients
- Managing occupier relationships and lease events, instructing and working with external advisers where needed
- Analysing building performance to identify efficiencies and opportunities, and turning that analysis into recommendations your clients act on
- Leading whole building advisory work and strategic recommendations for clients, including repositioning and refurbishment advice
- Leading the onboarding of new buildings into the portfolio and taking a lead role in pitches for new instructions
- Helping shape how the property management function scales, from processes and reporting to how we resource new buildings, and supporting the development of more junior members of the team
- Working with our operations, fit out and client experience teams to resolve issues quickly and improve the occupier experience
- Be comfortable presenting in pitches to showcase Kitt and be a central part of winning new business
Qualification
- You're a Chartered Surveyor with at least 5 years PQE and a track record of running commercial property management instructions in your own name, ideally across London offices.
- You've owned client relationships before, not just supported them, and you're comfortable being the person a landlord calls when something matters.
- You're fluent in service charges, compliance and landlord and tenant matters, and you have solid experience of leasing, lease events and capital projects.
- You think like an asset manager: you understand how operational decisions affect value, occupier experience and client trust, and you can make the case for a recommendation to a demanding client.
- You're hands on. You'd rather run a building well than only oversee people who do, and you're happy getting into the detail of a service charge budget or a dilapidations claim alongside advising on strategy.
- You enjoy refining processes and finding smarter ways to run buildings, and you want to help build a function rather than join one that's already finished.
- Most importantly, you're ambitious. You want a senior seat in a fast growing business, direct exposure to the leadership team and a visible part in growing Kitt's building management portfolio.
- You'll thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment where your work makes a real difference.
- The world of work has shifted forever. As people everywhere prioritise purpose over their paychecks, company culture has been thrown into the spotlight. But too many companies are showing up to work in bland, cookie cutter offices. We're leading this change.
- Real company culture can only be built in person, in the real world, and for it to be authentic it needs its very own, personalised space. That's why we create offices as unique as the brands and the people who work there. We're long term culture partners to our clients long after they've signed the lease and chosen the paint colours.
