This is a developmental FP&A role for someone with around one to two years of relevant finance experience who is studying towards a relevant professional qualification (CIMA/ACCA). You will support the UK planning, forecasting and reporting cycle, build your commercial understanding and gain exposure to senior stakeholders across the business. You will be supported as you develop your FP&A skills, strengthen your technical capability, and grow in confidence as a finance business partner.
- The role will suit someone who is curious, organised and comfortable working with detail, while also wanting to understand the commercial story behind the numbers. This is a hybrid role based in our London office (4 days per week).
- You become a trusted member of the UK Finance team, known for producing accurate work, asking thoughtful questions and helping colleagues understand the story behind the numbers
- Budgets, forecasts and management reports are delivered accurately and on time, with clear variance of commentary and well-maintained supporting data. UK leaders have dependable visibility of business performance and can make decisions with greater confidence
- Through stronger reporting, careful analysis and continued process improvement, the FP&A team benefits from better-quality information, more efficient ways of working and increasingly reliable forecasts. At the same time, you make consistent progress with your professional studies and build the technical, commercial and stakeholder-management skills needed to take on greater responsibility.
- Support the preparation of monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and longer-term plans for the UK business
- Produce regular management reporting and help ensure outputs are accurate, clear, and delivered on time
- Analyse actual performance against budget and forecast, investigate variances and help prepare concise commentary
- Maintain and improve financial models, reporting templates, and supporting data sets
- Track relevant financial measures and business KPIs, highlighting trends or areas that require further review
- Work with budget owners and Finance colleagues to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and resolve queries
- Support the incentive compensation calculation process, including data preparation, checks, and reporting
- Assist with period-end activities and ad hoc analysis for the UK leadership and Finance teams.
- Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives across FP&A
- Support other Finance projects and priorities as required.
