Responsibilities

  • Most companies bring banners and brochures to events. We have robots, factories, vehicles, and precision-formed metal. We want someone who knows what to do with them.
  • This is a unique opportunity to turn the physical world of Machina Labs into unforgettable experiences. Bring customers into our factories. Bring our factories to customers. Create product launches, demonstrations, and activations that make people see what's possible when you rethink how things are made.
  • We're looking for a creative builder who sees a factory floor as a showroom, a robot as a centerpiece, and a formed piece of metal as an opportunity to tell a story. Someone equally comfortable imagining an ambitious activation and figuring out how to get a vehicle, missile, or industrial robot onto a show floor.
  • This is not a conventional events role. You'll work in complex, high-friction environments where engineering, production, logistics, and compliance all matter. The right person is resourceful, organized, creatively ambitious, and relentlessly focused on business outcomes.
  • Own strategy and execution for all field marketing activities including factory tours, trade shows, guerrilla marketing, partner events, product launches, community days, VIP experiences, and original activations
  • Transform Machina's factories, products, and manufacturing technologies into compelling physical experiences, both onsite and in the field
  • Build out our factory showroom and create repeatable experiences that bring customers, partners, and decision-makers into the world of Machina Labs
  • Develop distinctive activations tailored to the audiences and business objectives of our defense and automotive businesses from technical experts and program leaders to senior executives
  • Serve as a creative and operational linchpin across marketing, collaborating with brand, content, communications, PR, social, and digital teams to bring integrated campaigns to life
  • Partner closely with BD and Executive Leadership to turn factory visits, demonstrations, and field experiences into a scalable engine for customer engagement and business development
  • Build, lead, and scale an events organization, including external production partners, vendors, and contractors
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, facilities, and compliance teams to execute ambitious experiences without compromising safety, operational priorities, or regulatory requirements
  • Extend beyond events to support adjacent marketing initiatives, including digital growth, community building, and partner marketing
  • 8+ years of field or experiential marketing experience in high-growth technology, manufacturing, automotive, defense, or similarly complex industries
  • Proven track record of creating memorable in-person experiences and building the processes and capabilities to scale them as a company grows
  • Strong personal point of view on experiential marketing. Doesn't simply execute a brief, but observes what resonates with target audiences and continuously improves the experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and deliver results with cross-functional teams, external partners, and customers
  • Comfortable navigating complex physical environments, demanding logistics, competing priorities, and unexpected challenges
  • Resourceful with budgets and unwilling to accept industry norms around expensive, forgettable events. Finds creative ways to use the company's own products, people, and capabilities to achieve greater impact
  • Equally comfortable setting the strategy, managing the details, and rolling up their sleeves to make something happen
