• As a Software Engineer on the Video Applications team, you'll design and
• implement high-quality features that directly impact millions of creative
• professionals. You'll tackle complex technical challenges across our video
• editing applications, working with cutting-edge frameworks and technologies on
• both iOS and macOS. Collaborating closely with engineers across the Video Apps
• teams, you'll contribute to initiatives that push the boundaries of what's
• possible in professional video editing on Apple devices.

Required

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or
• equivalent experience 5+ years of software engineering experience with
• SwiftUI/Swift or UIKit/AppKit At home in large, mature, ObjC codebases Strong
• understanding of software engineering and computer science fundamentals,
• including object-oriented design principles, design patterns, data structures,
• and algorithms Track record of owning a framework, SDK, or shared technical
• component end to end: API design, implementation, cross-team adoption, and
• evolution across releases Proven ability to break down large features into
• practical, implementable solutions Experience working on large,
• cross-functional, multi-team projects Excellent verbal and written communication
• skills in a highly collaborative environment Self-directed problem solver who
• can work independently and drive initiatives to completion

Preferred

• Customer focus and ability to make high-quality, user-centric product and
• technical decisions Experience creating and refining APIs for adoption by other
• teams and developers GENUINE PASSION FOR PROFESSIONAL CREATIVE TOOLS AND
• WORKFLOWS Familiarity with video editing, media processing, or graphics
• programming.
