• South Chicago Packing LLC in Chicago, IL seeks a Financial Quantitative Senior Analyst
• Job duties: Play pivotal role in enhancing financial decision-making processes by utilizing advanced data modeling and analytic theories. Leverage advanced mathematical models, statistical techniques, and programming skills to analyze complex data sets to inform financial strategies, optimize portfolio performance, and assess risks. Manage the financial operations of our business unit, which encompasses Core Oils and the rapidly growing Consumer Brands division. Oversee a variety of financial activities such as monthly financial close, forecasting, cost analysis, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and comprehensive business unit reporting. Contribute to the development and execution of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Strategic Plan.
• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Engineering, Accounting or related field and 4 years of experience in job offered, or related quantitative analyst role. Must have the following experience: (1) Advanced data modeling and root cause analysis using time-series forecasting analysis, Scenario Sensitivity Analysis; (2) Applying Quantitative Modeling Analysis to develop, test, and implement mathematical models to forecast market trends, asset prices, and financial risks for business units; (3) Using SQL to analyze large datasets to identify patterns and correlations; (4) Conducting scenario and stress testing to evaluate financial resilience under varying conditions; (5) Designing risk management/ measurement tools and metrics to monitor business risks; (6) Developing Financial and Statistical models that forecast asset optimization, pricing or relative value analysis, using software such as GAMS; and (7) Developing and building Annual Operating Plans (AOPs) and Long-Range Strategic Plans, or other related financial models for business use. • Salary range $95,000 to 125,000. Benefits for this role include: Medical, vision, dental, discretionary bonus up to 18% (50% personal performance based & 50% company performance), 401(k) with matching up to a max of 4% and 120 hours PTO in the 1st 12 months.
